Why the PAJAMA CHEF ?

I go to a culinary school in France. I really like cooking desserts and pastries. In two years when i finish my program I hope to go to the cordon bleu in atlanta in the baking program. The pajama chef first started out when I cooked pancakes pretty much every saturday in my pajama's so me and my family came up with "The Pajama Chef ". I wanted to cook for my family so i got out of bed early in the morning and went downstairs and cooked in my pajama's .
i think its because of the feel of pajama's, they are so cozy, comfortable and amazing to cook in !!

Eggs Benedict With a French Touch

Welcome to the Pajama Chef Blog!
Here is my recipe for Eggs Benedict, and you can see the pictures below.

This recipe will take courage and perseverance, but it is well worth the effort in the end.

250 g butter

4 egg yolks

4 Tbls water

Salt and Pepper

4 eggs or more

1 to 2 Tbls of vinegar

4 English muffins

4 strips of bacon(optional)

Melt the butter in the microwave until liquefied, and remove the white stuff on top.

Put the egg yolks in a pan with the water and heat until bubbles form on top.
Take it off of the heat and mix well with the melted butter until thick.
Season with salt and pepper.
Poach the eggs in the vinegar and water.
Fry the strips of bacon (optional)
Toast the English muffins.

Then, place the egg on the muffin, and add a strip of bacon if desired.
Finally, add the sauce on top and serve.

Voila!

This could take some time to master the first try, but don't give up.
The trick is to keep trying.

Good luck!
